Privacy Policy

We may collect "personally identifiable" information, which means information that might reasonably be used to specifically identify you and may include information such as the following (collectively, "Personal Information"):

• Contact information such as your name, postal address, personal and/or corporate email address, personal and/or corporate phone number and/or mobile number;
• Corporate/company title;
• Other address members and research participants provides
• PayPal e-mail address or account information (e.g., PayPal URL);
•  Tax Payer ID;
• Date of birth; and
• Location data that describes the precise geographic location of your device ("Precise Location Data").

We also collect "Other Information" from you or other sources which is information not considered Personal Information. Other Information may include, but is not limited to, information such as:

•  Device identification number (“Device ID or User Agent or Extended User Agent”), which is a distinctive number associated with a mobile device;
• Internet Protocol address (“IP Address”), which is a unique string of numbers automatically assigned to a device whenever you access the Internet (but which may be identical to the IP Address of other users on the same network);
• Log files, which may include IP Addresses, browser type, internet service provider referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamps, and/or clickstream data, including any clicks on customized links, longitude and latitude location, and country;
• Non-precise information about the approximate physical location (for example, at the city or zip code level) of a user's computer or device derived from the IP address of such computer or device;
•  “Local Shared Objects", which are pieces of data that websites may store on a user's computer, including Brower Cookies and Local Storage; and
•  Information collected through the use of Cookies (Cookie ID), eTags, Javascript, Pixel Tags, Device ID tracking, anonymous identifiers and other technologies, including information collected using such methods and technologies about interaction and engagement with third party websites, applications, platforms and other media channels.

All Personal Information and Other Information that we hold about you is referred to in this Privacy Policy collectively and generally as "User Information."

OutsourcePharma Advisory Board membership profile information is stored in our proprietary database, which is utilized to determine whether a member potentially meets the criteria necessary for a specific market research study or communication. When Life Science Strategy Group determines a potential match between a participant or member’s background and area of expertise, that member will be notified by Life Science Strategy Group. A member may elect not to participate in a specific study and will still maintain their membership.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of any other company or individual that is not owned or controlled by Life Science Strategy Group (LSSG).

We collect member and research participant information as they enter a survey and when they complete the survey:

• When you enter the introduction/ welcome page, we may collect certain data, including IP address, language setting, device ID/ user agent, user agent, referrer, session ID, longitude and latitude data, country, city, state/ region, postal, and time stamp;
• When a corporate email address is entered at the start of a study;
• When a member and/or research participant completes a survey (for example: title, company, name, country or state of location, zip code, postal mail address phone number, and email address).

Some of the User Information is collected using Cookies and/or Web Beacons. "Cookies" are small data file identifiers that are transferred to your computer or mobile web browser that allow us, and third parties with whom we partner, to recognize your browser or mobile device and transfer information about you.

Your information is used by Life Science Strategy Group and The OutsourcePharma Advisory Board for:

Participating members may select to be compensated by honorarium each time a study is successfully completed within the required time frame. Upon completion of a study, an honorarium is paid according to the terms of the study, and typically includes check, PayPal Amazon.com gift card, or Red Cross charitable donation.

It is the participant’s responsibility to keep a record of completed surveys and corresponding honoraria amounts earned, and to notify Life Science Strategy Group in the event payment is not received within 12 weeks following successful study participation.

Respondents hereby acknowledge that unclaimed honoraria are forfeit 9 months following the successful completion of a research study.

Life Science Strategy Group (LSSG) and The OutsourcePharma Advisory Board is committed to safeguarding the privacy of its members and research participants and follows the practice of “privacy by design”. All new content and personal information submitted to LSSG and/or The OutsourcePharma Advisory Board is anonymized upon receipt with the aim of irreversibly preventing the identification of the individual to whom it relates, whenever possible. In some cases, it is not possible to effectively anonymize data, either because of the nature or context of the data or because of the use for which the data is collected and retained In such cases, data is “pseudonymized”, meaning, any identifying characteristics of data are replaced with a pseudonym or value which does not allow the data subject to be directly identified. Corresponding personal information is stored separately from all pseudonymized data to ensure privacy.

LSSG, an independent life science research and consulting firm, owns and professionally maintains The OutsourcePharma Advisory Board LSSG and the OutsourcePharma Advisory Board does not release or sell personal or contact information to third parties or allow our membership directory to be used for commercial solicitations by external parties. The OutsourcePharma Advisory Board has been commissioned and developed by and is professionally maintained by Life Science Strategy Group (www.lifesciencestrategy.com).

Life Science Strategy Group may use Your Content in an anonymous fashion, including publicly displaying it, reformatting it, incorporating it into advertisements and other works, creating derivative works from it, promoting it, distributing it, and allowing others to do the same in connection with their own websites and media platforms (“Other Media”). As such, you hereby irrevocably grant us world-wide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free, assignable, sublicensable, transferable rights to use Your Content for any purpose. Please note that you also irrevocably grant the users of the Site and any Other Media the right to access Your Content in connection in an anonymous fashion with their use of the Site and any Other Media. Finally, you irrevocably waive, and cause to be waived, against LSSG and its users any claims and assertions of moral rights or attribution with respect to Your Content. By “use” we mean use, copy, publicly perform and display, reproduce, distribute, modify, translate, remove, analyze, commercialize, and prepare derivative works of Your Content.

 The time for which we keep information varies according to the information's use. In some cases, there are legal requirements to keep data for a minimum period. Unless there is a specific legal requirement for us to keep the information, we plan to retain it for no longer than is necessary to fulfill a legitimate business need. 

All information provided to LSSG will be taken in good faith and to the best of the respondent’s abilities. This includes providing respondent‘s corporate email address and answering interview and survey questions honestly and prudently without providing false, duplicate or misleading data in given responses, including those that are inconsistent with prior responses or are statistically improbable.

Violating good faith efforts can result in compromised data; therefore, LSSG reserves the right to withhold awarding any honoraria associated with the completion of any survey, if, in LSSG’s reasonable view, the response(s) are deemed untruthful or not well considered. Furthermore, LSSG reserves the right to withhold any honoraria awarded to a member under false pretenses, including but not limited to misrepresentation of background, current employment, professional responsibilities and/or qualifications, and outsourced services familiarity/use. LSSG has the right to verify respondent's current employment by requesting a confirmation via their corporate email address. Honoraria for successful survey completion will only be awarded once per person, per unique study.
